Import & Export Settings

Set the import date, run your first import, and keep transactions syncing.

The Import & Export Settings page is the final step after connecting your tools. Here you tell ToolMark which transactions to import and from when.

Before you start

Make sure you've connected the tools you use:

Each connected service shows a green dot when it's set up correctly. If one is red, open that integration's page and reconnect it before importing.

1. Set the import date

Choose the date ToolMark should start importing from. Only transactions on or after this date are imported, so pick it carefully - orders before this date are skipped.

2. Start the import

Click Start import. ToolMark pulls your transactions from the connected marketplace, creates the matching invoices in your bookkeeping tool, and (if configured) passes shipments to your shipping provider.

The first import can take a few minutes, depending on how many transactions fall within the selected period.

3. Ongoing imports

After the first import, ToolMark keeps picking up new transactions from your connected accounts automatically - you don't need to run the import again manually.

Using DreamRobot? Make sure your maximum request limit is set correctly so no transactions are skipped. See DreamRobot for details.

Troubleshooting

If transactions are missing or an import doesn't complete, reach out via the chat bubble in the app or email support@toolmark.io.
