How to Connect Dreamrobot to ToolMark
How to connect ToolMark with Dreamrobot for automated invoicing, shipping, and more.

Information we need to get started:

- Create Portal:
- Go to Admin > Portal Accounts
- Enter Account Name “ToolMark” and click “Erstellen”.
- Now you have to write an email to the customer support team to activate the API for your portal “ToolMark”.
- After you receive the email with the API credentials, we need to get the Portal ID.
- Go to Admin > Portal Accounts (on the left).
- Click on App Center and then on “Hinzufügen”.
- Click on Amazon.
- Now you will see a number around 7-10 digits long in your URL. That is your “Portal Account ID.” (Now you can close that portal window, as we do not need Amazon).
- Last but not least, we have to find the maximum request limit you booked. You can find that under:
- Admin > Then look down where you see a blue question mark with the text “DR REST API Zugänge.” There you see “Tarif.” The amount in ( ) is the daily amount of requests you get.
- Log in to ToolMark [LOGIN].
- Go to DreamRobot and enter the details we gathered over the past few steps and click save.
- Last but not least, we have the “TAX” option in our dashboard. This is for people who need to set a specific TAX status for their transactions, as DreamRobot itself does not set the correct TAX status. Simply select the option you need for TAX and click “Save.”
DreamRobot has API packages you have to book, like 500 transactions.
This is important because our system has a fallback system. If you reach, for example, 503
sales per day, 3 transactions would not be imported by DreamRobot because their limit was
reached. Our system will "save" those transactions and import them on the next day after the
limit is lifted again. So please enter the maximum request limit correctly so you don't lose
any data.
